There are many different components that made a computer. Some parts can be repaired and some are considered FRUs (Field Replaceable Units). So, if it would cost more than the repair then it is better to replace the units e.g., Power Supply, Motherboard, Memory, etc.
Our technicians will have most parts with them. So, if we have to replace a part, it’s going to be repaired onsite during that same visit and there are some rare instances where a computer might require a special part that needs to be ordered from the manufacturer. In that case, we order the part and get the tech back out to you to complete the repair as soon as the part arrives.
